Greetings from the PAR Secretariat.The 14th meeting of the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (CGRFA) is about to start.Along with the regular meetings CGRFA 14 will host lots of side events and PAR looks forward in facilitating the one that will take place Tuesday, 16 April 2013.We make this an occasion to announce a new database driven web site that will help in contributing to a better understanding of the value of diversity. The web site provides analytical features and we look forward to see it grow also thanks to you. It is is hosted by PAR and has been set up in collaboration with Bioversity International, CCAFS (Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security program of the CGIAR) and AMKN (Adaptation and Mitigation Knowledge Network of CCAFS).Have a look and let us know what you think about it, contribute and be patient if some information is still incomplete as this is work in progressA last item is on practitioners guidelines to include Access and Benefit Sharing in their work.Contribute to our next newsletter that is due in June by sending us news and information or commentary by the end of May and we encourage you to forward this email to your colleagues that have an interest in agrobiodiversity matters.Click for the submission guidelines
