The Research in Development (RinD) Learning Site explains the essentials of the Research in Development (RinD) approach. It was originally developed under the CGIAR Aquatic Agricultural System Program (CRP AAS). The approach can be applied to agricultural research programs working in complex systems that seek to improve the effectiveness of agricultural development to reduce poverty and improve livelihoods and food security.

This learning site is designed for anyone who wants to learn about or use the RinD approach. It houses information about all the elements, processes and tools in the RinD approach. The site is organized into five main elements:

  1. Participatory Action Research
  2. Gender Transformative Approach
  3. Theory of Change
  4. Capacity Development
  5. Partnerships
