PAR/IPSI events before and during COP11 of the CBD

The Satoyama Initiative aims to conserve sustainable human-influenced natural environments (Socio-Ecological Production Landscapes; SEPL) through broader global recognition of their value. The partnership, IPSI, comprises organisations committed to support SEPL for the benefit of biodiversity and human well-being through the implementation of their respective activities PAR is a member of the partnership and will be participating in the different events that IPSI plans to hold during COP 11 in Hyderabad, India. These include: The third IPSI assembly Saturday 6 October 2012 IPSI-3 Public Forum “Contribution to Achieving the Aichi Biodiversity Targets” Sunday 7 October 2012 A Side Event co-organized with the Ministry of the Environment Japan (MOEJ) “Achievements and further development of the International Partnbership for the Satoyama Initiaitive” Thursday 11 October 2012 A community Palli Session on “Linking community and landscape resilience” Friday 12 October 2012   Further details of all these events can be found on the Third IPSI Global Conference web page
