    Research Activities: 1. Dr Ramesh has proved the significance of Iron and Molybdenum pelleting for improving yields of pulses.
    2. Dr Ramesh has developed technology for intercropping wheat/Mustard along with Stevia rebaudiana. a natural sweetener plant.
    3. Dr Ramesh has developed molecule specific farming in medicinal plants: Has identified specific time of sowing and shading requirement for harvesting of maximum bio molecules for Stevia and Tagetes minuta.
    4. Dr Ramesh has shown that zeolites could absorb soil urease and reduce their activity in soil to enhance nutrient use efficiency.
    5. Dr Ramesh has done commendable work on ways of aggrading soil organic carbon (SOC) in rice-rice systems: He has proved tha SOC build up is rice-rice systems could be sustained with inclusion of Sesbania rostrata and it would affect the rate of loss of SOC in rice soils.
    6. Dr Ramesh has ample international exposure through oral presentation at International conference on Biometeorology at UNI-FREIBERG held at Germany, awarded as USDA Borlaug Fellow 2011 and authored/reviewed WMO No. 134, GAMP
