What does membership to the Platform entail and what do you get in return?
In order to join the Platform, aspiring members need to fill out a membership profile for entry into our database. Beyond this first step, participation in the Platform generally indicates willingness to engage with other members of the Group, to share experiences and to be receptive to learn from others.
Membership entitles participants participate in electronic discussions organized by the Secretariat, and to receive our regular e-bulletins and newsletters. Non-members are also able to freely access the website and other information resources (including e-bulletins and newsletters) but are not generally eligible to participate in other specific Platform initiated activities.
Most importantly, is the benefit of becoming part of a global network which has one common goal: promoting the sustainable use and conservation of agrobiodiversity!
