Save and Grow
A book produced under the direction of Shivaji Pandey, Director of FAO’s Plant Production and Protection Division, about the urgent need for sustainable agricullture in order to cope with climate change and other threats and damages partly caused by modern practices introduced during the Green Revolution.
“In order to grow, agriculture has to save”, the authors assert. And they stress the crucial role governments, policymakers and developed countries will play by helping farmers achieve this goal.
